For the 18th year, DryHome continues its tradition of thanking the community by giving a free roof to a deserving individual, family or non-profit in Northern VA.
DryHome Roofing and Siding, a Sterling, Va. based roofing company, is accepting nominations starting November 1 for its 18th annual Free Roof for the Holidays program for a deserving Northern Virginia based individual, family or nonprofit in need of a free roof. The free roof will be awarded based on nominations DryHome receives from customers and the community.
Nominations close on November 30, 2019. Winners will be announced in early December.
DryHome Roofing and Siding has been serving Northern Virginia for more than quarter of a century. The “Free Roof for the Holidays” program enables DryHome to thank its customers and the community by helping those less fortunate have a safe roof over their heads too. Since the program’s inception 17 years ago, the company has donated more than $150,000 in free roofs back to the community.
The “Free Roof for the Holidays” program is open to Northern Virginia families, individuals and nonprofits. A Stafford mother of three who lost her husband—a disabled veteran—won last year’s free roof. Prior years, DryHome awarded roofs to a Vienna mother who was struggling following a difficult divorce; Leesburg widow and mother of two young children; Cornerstones; a social worker and advocate for the homeless; a widow; Doorways for Women and Families’ Safehouse; a school bus driver; a veteran; Good Shepherd Alliance; Falls Church Cub Scout House; Gabriel Homes; a community volunteer; and an elderly Alexandria man.
