Nominations for this year’s roof giveaway will be accepted starting November 1, 2022.
DryHome Roofing and Siding accepts nominations starting each year in November for our annual Free Roof for the Holidays program for a deserving Northern Virginia-based individual, family, or nonprofit in need of a free roof. The free roof will be awarded based on nominations DryHome receives from customers and the community.
At DryHome, we have been serving Northern Virginia for more than a quarter of a century. The “Free Roof for the Holidays” program enables us to thank our customers and the community by helping those less fortunate have a safe roof over their heads, too.
The “Free Roof for the Holidays” program is open to Northern Virginia families, individuals, and nonprofits. In the past, DryHome awarded a roof to a Leesburg widow, a mother of two young children. Prior recipients included Cornerstones, a local nonprofit that works to alleviate homelessness, a social worker who is a tireless advocate for the homeless; a widow; Doorways for Women and Families’ Safehouse; a school bus driver; a veteran; Good Shepherd Alliance, a nonprofit serving Loudoun’s homeless, Falls Church Cub Scout House; Gabriel Homes, nonprofit serving adults with developmental disabilities; a community volunteer; and an elderly Alexandria man.
Nominations for the 2022 Free Roof for the Holidays open November 1st and run through November 30. We’ll announce the recipient in early December.
