In 1988, Steve Gotshi decided to form a one-man roofing operation. This was the humble beginning of what is now DryHome Roofing and Siding.
Relying on his roofing trade experience, project management skills and attention to detail, Steve gradually began building a successful customer base. As demand for a reliable and trustworthy roofing company grew, Steve added employees and established an office.
Eleven years after DryHome’s inception, Steve began to focus on business development. David Spencer became a business partner and helped manage the company’s expansion. This led to DryHome’s addition of siding, windows, skylights, Sun Tunnels and gutters.
Today, the company provides full-exterior services, employs over 25 people, and serves all of Northern Virginia. It is focused primarily on residential customers, and has put roofs on thousands of houses.
Steve firmly believes in giving back to the community. DryHome just celebrated its tenth annual “Free Roof for the Holidays” program by giving away two free roofs. DryHome also founded and organizes the Loudoun Lyme 5K, an annual event that raises awareness and funds for Lyme disease.
“We’re ingrained in this community through the thousands of roofs and exteriors we’ve fixed and our volunteerism and giving,” Steve said, “Doing right by our customers and community has helped us thrive for 30 years and will continue to define our next quarter century.”
